This is a Practical Skills Review and Practical Exam opportunity for approved CSEP candidates.
Candidates may register for just the Practical Exam but if they wish to register for the Practical Skills Review they must take the Practical Exam.
This Practical Skills Review session will include both theoretical and practical review of concepts/tests that will be evaluated on the written and practical exams.
The Theoretical Review will involve reviewing key concepts of health and wellness, fitness assessment and exercise prescription within the scope of practice for the CSEP-CPT.
The Practical Skills Review will involve reviewing all of the CSEP-PATH protocols, resistance training and flexibility monitoring sessions, and motivational interviewing to prepare the candidate for the practical exam.
The Practical Skills Review involves 2-days of practical and theoretical content (approximately 14 hours). There is significant emphasis on practical experiences designed to give candidates confidence for the practical exam.
The Practical Exam will be held on the third day and scheduled during the Practical Skills Review.
